Drugs that can induce myopathy

• Statins, fibrates, alcohol: Mecrotizing myopathy
• Statins, D-penicillamine, interferon-α, procainamide: Inflammatory myopathy
• Zidovudine, germanium: Mitochondrial myopathy
• Colchicine, vincristine: Antimicrotubular myopathy
• Chloroquine, hydroxychloroquine, quinacrine, perhexiline, amiodarone: Lysosomal storage myopathy
• Emetine, ipecac: Myofibrillar myopathy
• Corticosteroids: Type II muscle fiber atrophy
