Indications for MRI imaging in epilepsy

• Abnormal neurologic examination.
• Worsening or crescendo seizures.
• Treatment resistant epilepsy.
• Non-idiopathic epilepsy.
• Evidence of partial seizure onset on EEG or history.
• Patient evaluation for epilepsy surgery (MRI, fMRI, PET, SPECT).
