Ulnar nerve - dorsal cutaneous branch lesions

Causes

• Entrapment under flexor carpi ulnaris tendon
• Trauma (laceration, blunt, handcuffs)
• Iatrogenic (wrist surgery, venipuncture)
• Overuse (occupational, eg. pricer palsy)

Symptoms & signs

• Pain and paresthesia in the dorsal ulnar aspect of the hand and dorsal aspect of 5th and medial half of 4th finger.
• No motor symptoms or signs.
