Radial nerve - pseudoradial palsy
Causes
Contralateral cerebral infarction may produce a syndrome resembling radial palsy. The most frequently described location of the infarction is the precentral knob.
Presentation with isolated index finger palsies have also been described. Pseudoulnar palsy is probably more common than pseudoradial palsy.
Symptoms & signs
- Predominantly affects wrist extensors, producing wrist drop.
