Causes

• Trauma
• Compression by abnormal palmaris longus muscle or ganglion.
• Entrapment by scars or fascia bands.
• Iatrogenic injury during carpal tunnel surgery.

Symptoms & signs

• Pain, sensory deficit and paresthesia over thenar eminence.
